Kilroy是人名 基萊，源於美國流行文化。 用在素描，牆上塗鴉等。 kilroy was here 基萊到此一遊，或者直接說本人到此一遊。

世界最知名的到此一遊塗鴉恐怕就是「Kilroy was here」了。 二次世界大戰時，美國人（甚至歐洲、南太平洋）幾乎都知道這個塗鴉。James J. Kilroy（1902-1962）二次大戰時在美國麻省海軍造船廠工作。當時造船工人每天的薪水，端視當天裝了多少隻鉚釘而定。Kilroy負責檢查計算鉚釘數量，檢查過後就用粉筆劃個記號。沒想到有工人偷偷塗改移動粉筆記號，讓前一天裝的部份鉚釘也計入當天，以多賺取工資。Kilroy發現工人這個舉動後，就在記號旁再寫上Kilroy was here。當時戰況緊急，船艙內部沒有塗漆，就送交海軍使用。後來，每當軍艦維修時，軍人發現Kilroy was here的記號在這裡、在那裡，無所不在，甚感驚奇。這個塗鴉變成是軍艦受到良好檢查的保證，甚至成為保護海軍的幸運符。軍人從這得到靈感，於是只要每登陸一個新地方，就會偷偷（在很難到達之處）留下這個記號。Kilroy瞬間變成一名超級英雄，因為軍人發現他總是會比部隊早一步到達。在二次大戰結束之前，Kilroy已經在世界各地出現，從柏林到東京。謠言愈傳愈多，有人宣稱它在紐約自由女神像的火炬、喜馬拉雅山的聖母峰，甚至在月球上出現。Kilroy was here變成一個奇蹟，許多人也樂於模仿複製，讓這個塗鴉周遊列國無所不在。
